The start point is the parking lot at Dr France Prešeren’s birth house. Pass through the village and the famous linden tree to the Cesarska cesta road. Turn left onto a dirt road and continue to Žirovnica where you can visit Matija Čop’s birth house. Return to the main road which takes you through the villages under Stol mountain. You can stop by the Žirovnica Primary School and visit the Alley of Famous Men. Continue through Zabreznica. You can visit the reconstruction of Anton Janša's apiary in Breznica, birth house of Fran Saleški Finžgar in Doslovče, and the Janez Jalen Museum House in Rodine. Continue the trip in the direction of Hraše. Then you reach the crossroads with the Cesarska cesta road along which you return to the starting point in Vrba.
